My work often begins months before the purchase of a home. Meeting a client, listening to and finding out what the client is looking for before scouting for a suitable property. I can negotiate with the agent or advise the client on how to bid. At a later stage if required I can liaise with surveyors, builders and engineers, drawing up schedules of work and planning budgets.

Many of the featured projects involve small 19th century artisan homes which I strive to restore with sensitivity, replacing key period features that have disappeared while striving for maximum energy efficiency and comfort. I like to combine a practical layout with a carefully considered design with emphasis on detailing. I work with home owners and investors.

As image is key for property marketing I offer advice to clients on presentation of property for the rental and sales markets. In some cases I take the project from start to finish providing a turnkey service. Much of my work is providing design advice to home owners.
